Summer time

"Summer time, you do it to me every time, summer time"

hello! because of some twist of faith, i got myself to open this page. I realized that keeping a blog maybe a good exercise; I'm fascinated by how i tripped into the memory lane through my older posts. It preserved the details of the important things that happened to my life.

Having that into consideration, I will try to blog about the remarkable things in my life, (even though no one reads this page except me) haha:)

this ends my lame post.

yeah, I'm back!:D

hoorah! first blog post for the year!

obviously, i fell into the sin of being too lazy to update my blog. a lot of things happened this past months, and it will be needing a long, long, long litany of words to be narrated so maybe i would not waste my time on that.

anyway, cheers for 2010! i don't have the will to talk of something meaningful at this time.

"But, Jesus I've fallen
I don't mind the rain if
I meet my maker
I'll meet my maker clean

But, Jesus the truth is
I've struggled so hard to believe
I'll meet my maker
I'll need my maker

To cure of my doubting blood
And drain me of the sins I love
And take from me my disbelief
I know it should come easily
But it remains inside of me
It battles and devours me
It cuddles up the side of me
And whispers it convinces me

I'm Right"

Get Me Right - Dashboard Confessional

this ends my post.

PH = AS (remember that, or you'll be tagged as a freshie)

Whoa, the first week of classes already ended.

Unlike any other opening of classes, this time, I did not feel any excitement. I did not feel the thrill of getting into college, of entering a new chapter in my life. I really do not know why I feel this way, but I think it doesn't matter anyway.

It is also a surprise to me that I am able to really do not make friends with anybody. Neither did I make that usual creative and fun way of introducing myself. Weird it may seem, but I feel like enjoying the solitude. I like being alone, I think I love being alone. I go to different buildings by myself, eat and make ‘tambay’ alone. I also resisted the urge of joining the search for a ‘freshie rep’ in our college. Being ordinary is cool; I love being a ‘nobody’ in the school. Angel warned me that these things compromise the flare (‘flare’ as defined by Angel, is that sensation or urge of wanting to get involved) I have. But as of now, what matters is that I concentrate more on my studies.

Another thing that reinforces this grade consciousness, is that the video card of our computer failed, thus resulting to the inability to launch computer games. (yes, no Grand Chase.) This helps me to control my addiction, thus resulting to having more time for my studies.

Hmm, I can’t think of anything more to say, bye for now.

a post made by the best dressed male student...(it is real this time:P)

whoa.

So a lot of things happened again.

To start off...

My great grandmother died.

I wasn't that affected, but I was sad since she was the one who raised my mom.(and I know how affected she was, she was just not that showy...)

But then, the sad happening became a bridge for the reunion of the family. well, several relatives from abroad and far provinces went to see her... that gave the opportunity for us to talk and see each other again. (and that was I think the bright side of the story.)

after that, came our graduation ball.
whoa, i wasn't expecting too much from this happening, that is why i am very surprised when i saw my dad infront of me.(i always thought he will not make it to my graduation.:P)

so the night came.

my classmates were shocked by my attire... i was wearing black shirt with long sleeves and checkered collar and design in the middle, black fitted pants, a pair of VANS shoes... but what struck them the most is my white, fur scarf. (well, i guess they were not expecting me to wear one:P)

and because of my standout and unique attire, I was able to get the award of ‘Best Dressed Male Student’

with shades of red and black

the ball was nonetheless fun and memorable. 4A made the most of one of our last nights as classmates…

after the grad ball, Oli, Pao and Jacob went straight to our house and had an overnight. It was also fun… we were awake until 4 in the morning… we watched ‘the shooter’ and some video clips.>:))

and lo. The day of my graduation came. But then, it was also the burial day of my grandma.

The commencement exercise was a great battle for me. I’ve been battling against my emotions, trying my very best to stop the tears from flowing down. I want to remember it as a joyous event. But then, I couldn’t deny from myself that I was really sad since my 4aver days are over. It seems only yesterday when I started my last year in MandSci, and during the course of that year I wished that time would fastforward so I can graduate at once. (the time of 4A wars) it was too late when 4AVER was formed. But then, even for a short while, I am thankful to God for gluing the pieces of the 4A puzzle. It is not maam tirones, nor BA, but God who made 4A 4AVER.

Now, I am a proud Alumnus of CMSHS.

And I will never be ashamed to say that ‘CMSHS is my school’

a post made by the 1st Honorable Mention and Athlete of the Year

good day fellas.:)

I wasn't able to do some blogging lately because I always go home feeling tired and maybe because I do not have the will to. But then... jenen! I got back to my senses and realized that I have so many stories that I want to share.:))

To start of...

A few days ago, different schools went into our school to do some career orientation...(or should I say, 'school endorsements')

Many offered high quality education(really now eh?), state-of-the-art facilities, airconditioned rooms, discounts(one school even offered 60% discount for us), and on-the-job trainings abroad… But what caught my attention is that one school even offered discount on Jollibee!

another thing that happened during those days is that the line-up of honors were hilariously changed. Paolo is our Valedictorian, Melo is our Salutatorian, and yours truly as the 1st honorable mention.

The 2-day school endorsement was really crazy(and boring.)

Next activity was the ‘recollection’.

Now, the word ‘recollection’ has a new meaning in my vocabulary.

Recollection- the process of delivering long and tedious speeches in front of sleeping/half asleep/bored students.

Well, the message was there, but the way it was delivered… urgh… I wish it has been more interactive so that the audience was able to participate actively.

Enough with school stuff…

Another thing that happened is the Bday Celebration of Cedric. It was a lot fun(and costly, I may say.) We ate so much and played DOTA for 4 hrs. at Netopia. (imagine, we had a bill of PHP600.00 for the computer rental. Haha!) but then, it was worth it. I missed playing with my friends (awww…)

Next is the celebration of our 13th monthsary! It was so much fun…

First, we went to the movie house to watch ‘Confessions of a Shopaholic’… It gave the moral of SACRIFICING WHAT YOU DO NOT NEED FOR WHAT YOU NEED.

Then, we ate at Pollo Loco. The food was great, and we are very full after eating.:)) we also took pictures of each other there.:)

As we are heading to the arcade, some clothes got our attention, and lo! I was able to find a perfect attire for our Graduation Ball.

In the arcade, we played and had so much fun. And one thing that strikes me most is that I can’t beat Erika at racing! Whoa!:))

Lastly, is the revelation of BEN ALMEDA. And i am a part of this group. Even for just two weeks, i felt the pressure and joy of making our classmates happy. it was tiring and fund draining but it was very worth it. we had meetings until late at night, adventures in preparations and the thrill of making everybody believe that we are not BA. (well, i admit, i am NOT good in acting:P)

"WE ARE NOT WEIRD, WE'RE JUST COOLER THAN YOU" oha!:))

BE STRONG.
BE FIRM.
BE A.
BE AN A'ER.

CERTIFIED 4AVER
